Nine David — Asian Ride

Photographe auto-didacte, c’est durant son voyage de fin d’étude que Nine commence à faire ses armes en tant que photographe. Elle produit la série “Asian Ride”. De retour en France, elle travaille pendant 2 ans comme studio coordinatrice pour la photographe de mode Ellen von Unwerth, puis décide de rejoindre l’école Kourtrajmé et la section Art et Image dirigé par l’artiste JR.
Nine aime mettre un focus sur nos vies, nos habitudes au quotidien et nos manières d’être.
Asian Ride est une série de photographies prisent entre Taiwan, les Philippines et le Japon en 2018. Nouvelles rencontres, immersion au sein de l’industrie custom motos, retrouvaille avec ses proches.
La photographe pour cette série à décider de la présenter comme un fanzine, où elle s’amuse à combiner textes et images, le tout en nous plongeant dans son intimité.
Comme un journal de bord, la photographe retrace ses 6 mois à sillonner l’Asie entre Février et Août 2018.

A self-taught photographer, It was during her end-of-study trip to Asia that she started working as a photographer and produced the series "Asian Ride". Nine likes to focus on our lives, our habits, our daily life and our ways of being
Asian ride is a series of photographs taken between Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines and Japan in 2018. New encounters, report on the motorcycle industry, reunion with her loved ones... She wanted through this fanzine, to combine the text and the image.
Like a logbook, this zine retraces my 6 months spent criss-crossing Asia between February and August 2018.
